报告题目：Essential normality of quotient modules over the polydiscs and K-homology of distinguished varieties

报告摘要：In this talk, I will talk about the essential normality of quotient modules over the polydisc. We will give a operator-theoretic characterization of distinguished varieties of the bidisk. As an application, we will give the K-homology of distinguished varieties. The talk is based a series of joint works with K. Guo(Fudan University) and C. Zhao(Shandong University).

报告人简介：王鹏辉山东大学数学学院教授，副院长，博士生导师，获教育部自然科学奖一等奖，国家教学成果奖二等奖。主要研究方向：泛函分析、泛函分析在其他分支中的应用。在Adv. Math（2篇）、JDE、JFA、ARMA等杂志上发表论文多篇。
