报告摘要:We study the unconditional convergence of a Marker-And-Cell scheme for the compressible Navier-Stokes system via the concept of dissipative weak-strong uniqueness principle for physically relevant adiabatic coefficient $\gamma>1$. Moreover, we estimate the error of the numerical solutions with respect to the strong solution by both the discrete and continuous versions of the relative entropy functional, and show that the continuous approach is better in two folds: 1. It provides a better convergence rate; 2. It works for all $\gamma>1$ and thus removes the limitation of $\gamma>\frac32$ which is needed in the discrete approach.
报告人简介:佘邦伟,首都师范大学研究员、博士生导师,国家高层次青年人才。本科毕业于中国科学技术大学,博士毕业德国美茵茨大学,曾担任捷克科学院数学所准聘、长聘研究员,主要研究方向为流体力学方程组的数值模拟和分析,著有Springer学术专著一部,在IMA J Numer. Anal.、Math. Comput.、Numer. Math.、SIAM J Numer. Anal.等计算数学知名期刊发表多篇学术论文。
